Job Title:    Sales Support Assistant

Hours:        8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break

Location:    Shrewsbury, SY4 4RR

Part of the Dunstall Holdings Groups, Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) was established over 30 years ago and is a leading regional agricultural machinery dealer. About the Role

The role holder will work within the Sales Hub Support team assisting their sales hub colleagues, sales managers & salesman at all RVT depots. The role will involve administrative duties as well as hands on work away from their desk including supporting the demo team, collecting stock information and occasionally attending shows and events across the group.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands on individual who is happy to work in a fast paced environment where each day is different. The role holder will have the opportunity to travel to all depots becoming a key group member at RVT. The position will lead to great career progress for the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with sales hub administration -
    • Stock control system updates using internal stock sheets & Ibcos gold as well as assisting the with stock audits when needed.
    • Machinery website updates 
    • Ordering & specification input changes using manufacturer systems.
  • Stock checks of used sales machinery to manage stock, align to Ibcos, take pictures and prepare write ups for website/social media/mail chimp etc.
  • Assist team with machine deliveries and paperwork trail as well dealing with the logistics of exporting machines worldwide. 
  • Being a key member of the demonstration and installation process assisting with logistics and organisation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent telephone, email & Face to face communication skills
  • Good knowledge of agriculture would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft excel, word & Outlook 
  • Full driving licence
  • Telehandler Licence would be an advantage. 
  • Basic tractor driving skills would be an advantage
