Yard Assistant

Part of the Dunstall Holdings Groups, Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) was established over 30 years ago and is a leading regional agricultural machinery dealer. We supply an extensive range of agricultural machinery throughout Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and mid Wales and also sell high-quality used equipment across the UK and abroad.

The Dunstall Holdings Group contains two business streams which are involved in agricultural and industrial applications and is principally engaged in the sale, servicing and repair of agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, materials handling equipment and workplace storage solutions. The Group has 7 different locations in the UK and with a turnover of over £120m employing over 270 team members throughout the UK.

We have four depots in Newport, Shrewsbury, Sudbury and Welshpool. The main franchises that we represent are John Deere, JCB and Kuhn

Purpose and Scope

Keeping the yard tidy, delivering new and demo vehicles to customers.

This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour week from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a requirement to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean and prepare new and used machines for sale.
  • Keep yard and premises clean and tidy
  • Help and assist with delivering demo and new machines

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Familiar with operating agricultural machines
  • Clean driving licence
  • Able to work extra hours when needed and work in a team
